HIGH PRICE TRANSFER
At Luker, we are committed to ensuring that on average 90% of the London Cocoa Price is paid directly to our suppliers. This work is led by a team in the field, which, together with farmer associations, regional buyers and our warehouses, verifies and documents each purchase, confirming that the association in turn pays the farmer on average 90% of the price received.
* As of 1 July 2025, Luker Chocolate adopted the London cocoa price as its international benchmark, replacing the New York reference to ensure a tariff-neutral price that better reflects global market conditions.
TRACEABILITY
Traceability is a core part of Luker Chocolate’s sustainability approach, ensuring transparency and accountability across the cacao value chain.
We currently trace 100% of the cacao sourced through associations and regional buyers, and we are advancing in our efforts to extend traceability down to the individual farmer level. Through the Luker Trace system, supported by Trusty | Agrifood Supply Chain Management, approximately 28.3% of our total cacao purchases are already traceable to individual farmers, with verified data on farming practices and price transfers.
